Where is Elkton’s A&E District?
Elkton is at the crossroads of Maryland Route 213 and Route 40; Just a short drive off exit 109A from I-95. The district consists of 75.3 acres which include the Cecil County Arts Council (CCAC), The Historical Society of Cecil County (HSCC) and Cecil College Elkton Station Gallery and Performance Hall. The district also includes galleries, studios, dining, taverns & a micro-brewery.
What kind of arts can we expect to see in Elkton?
Elkton is proud to promote and support over 100 local artists throughout our district, including visual arts, performing arts and public art. We are proud to feature 4 unique galleries, 5 dining options from formal to relaxed. Several wonderful and diverse shopping venues. There are also several studios where you can see artists plying their trade first-hand.
Who is involved in Elkton’s A&E District?
Elkton’s Chamber & Alliance oversees the district. Our partners include, The Town of Elkton and the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC).
