Elkton Arts & Entertainment is THRILLED to present our newest addition to the Public Art Scene.
The Beautiful Mural detailing Arts & Entertainment and its many disciplines is located adjacent to the Municipal Parking Lot at the corner of Howard and Bow Street.
This stunning work was created by Elkton artist, Vitaly Semenchenko over the Summer of 2021. Mr. Semenchenko was born in southern Ukraine. He studied at the Crimean Art College 4 years and graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts and studied for 6 years at the world renowned Russian Imperial Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg, Russia under famous professor Alexander Zaytsev. He taught thousands of students for over 50 years and continues to hold weekly workshops on figure drawing at the Cecil County Arts Council.

This mural project was funded through a generous grant from the Maryland State Arts Council and the facade grant program through the Department of Housing and Community Development.
